More and more companies are moving their outsourcing and production from China to countries in Southeast Asia. The aim is to increase profitability. Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand have become interesting options that offer competitive advantages in terms of cost and quality.
These three countries have a rapidly growing middle class that are potential consumers. Growth is strong in several industries and trade barriers, both technical and business culture, has been reduced.
This means that the region offers interesting opportunities for Swedish companies to relocate production or outsource operations to Southeast Asia. The EU has also concluded or are negotiating free trade agreements with several countries. And countries in Southeast Asia have free trade agreements with each other (ASEAN) and other Asian countries.

Tick Tock Consulting helps European companies with market analysis, distributor-, partner- and manufacture searches and company establishments in Southeast Asia.

Pharmacure markets proprietary pharmaceutical products focused on nasal comfort. In 2012 the company decided to start producing some products in Vietnam and focus sales in Asia and emerging markets. Today Pharmacure sells through distributors in over 30 countries. The growth is largely in Asia. Åke will share their practical experiences and knowledge from Pharmacure’s internationalization, especially in Asia.
